Yes Sid , This man has UNITED our Nation , irrespective of cast , creed or religion . Y'day , I was in the car on the Andheri Kurla Road when he was hitting the last few overs on his way to 200 & the roads were free of traffic jam !! Also he is so HUMBLE , at least as far as we can see him on TV ; Perhaps even Balasaheb will now change & respect this young man's views on politics & worldly maters .
Sorry Sid, I still feel his best is yet to come and it will come in the 2011 World Cup.....in India at a very very crucial when India will need him the most.
i too got goosebumps reading this. I never admired sachin so much but he proved me wrong. "For twenty years and counting the sight of a tiny little figure coming out of the dressing room with a bat in his hand, adjusting his cricketing gear and walking towards the pitch has given many a cricket fan goosebumps."
good stuff sid :) now that he has won this series for us, the demands will move to WC2011.. thats the kind of expectations the man is shouldering for 20 years.... and how!
